Early lifeApj Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October 1931 in Dhanushkodi village (Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu) in a middle-class Muslim family. His full name was Abul Pakir Jainulabaddin Abdul Kalam (Apj Abdul Kalam ). His father Zainul Abidin was a sailor and his mother was Ashiamma, a homemaker. His father Jainulabadin was neither highly educated nor a money man. His father was given fishermen on boat fare. Abdul Kalam lived in a joint family. It can be estimated from the number of family members that he himself has five brothers and five sisters and there are three families in the house. His father has a lot of influence on the life of Apj Abdul Kalam. Although he was not well-educated, his passion and his rendition of Abdul Kalam did much work. In the fifth year, Rasheshwaram’s panchayat had his sadhana in primary school.





Apj Abdul Kalam Sahib started his education at an elementary school in Rameshwaram. Kalam Sahib started the work of selling the newspaper for his studies and financial support of the house. Apj Abdul Kalam completed the twelfth Schwartz Higher Secondary School located in Ramanathapuram. Thereafter, he enrolled at St. Joseph College to obtain a Bachelor Degree, which is located in Tiruchirappalli. But their education was not ended here, they were fond of reading and learning. He went to Madras in 1955 for further studies from where he graduated in Space Science in 1958.











Scientific Life: He joined the Indian Space Research Organization in Abdul Kalam n1962. Abdul Kalam was credited with making India’s first indigenous satellite (SLV III) missile as Project Director-General. In 1980, he established the Rohini satellite near the Earth’s orbit. In this way, India also became a member of the International Space Club. They also credit it for providing licenses to the ISRO launch vehicle program. Kalam designed the indigenous target piercing controlled guided missiles. He created missiles like fire and earth from indigenous technology. Kalam was the Science Advisor to the Defense Minister and Secretary of Security Research and Development Department from July 1992 to December 1999.He used the strategic missile system as firearms. Similarly, second-time atomic tests in Pokharan combined with nuclear energy. In this way, India achieved the ability to build nuclear arms. 








Kalam gave a specific thought to the development level of India in science by 2020.It is also the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. In 1982, he returned to the Indian Defense Research and Development Institute as a director and he focused his attention on the development of “guided missile”. Some of them have credited the successful test of fire the missile and earthquake missile. In July 1992, he was appointed as a Scientific Advisor in the Indian Ministry of Defense. Under his supervision, India conducted its second successful nuclear test in Pokhran in 1998 and joined the list of nations with nuclear power. With his work and successes in the seventies and the eighties, Dr Kalam became very famous in India and something counted his name among the biggest scientists of the country. His fame had increased so much that the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had allowed him to work on some secret projects without the approval of his cabinet.









Talking about the political life of life as APJ Abdul Kalam, he was elected as the 11th President of India. On July 18, 2002, they elected Kalam President of the country with a majority of 90% and took an oath on July 25, 2002. Although Kalam was not a person of the political field, after becoming the President, you can consider him as a political figure due to his views on nationalist thinking and policies of his country.

On the evening of July 27, 2015, when Kalam was giving a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, he had a heart attack that was called a cardiac arrest in the medical science language, due to which he fell unconscious and then he was admitted to Bethune Hospital Around 6.30 pm, the doctors were brought in a serious condition, but the doctors said that “now they are not as it is because they are brought to their blood pressure And the sages had left. The United Nations celebrated kalam’s 79th birthday as World Student Day. Apart from this, he was given honorary doctoral degrees by almost forty universities; Padma Bhushan honoured him in 1981 by the Indian government and Padma Vibhushan in 1990, for his achievements in scientific work during ISRO and DRDO. And was given as a Scientific Advisor to the Government of India
They awarded kalam Sahab India’s highest civilian honour, Bharat Ratna in 1997, they gave which for his scientific research and unprecedented contribution to the development of technology in India.
In the year 2005, the Government of Switzerland declared Science Day on 26 May to commemorate Kalam in Switzerland. The National Space Society awarded him the Von Brown Award in 2013 for the efficient movement and management of space science-related projects.
