 Information of Sant Kabir Das Early life

saint Kabir das was born in the Hindu family and grew up in the Muslim family. Sant Kabir Das blessed himself with being the stage-touch of Ramanand Ji on the valley of Kashi and accepted him as his Guru. Sant Kabir Das tried to bind both the Hindus and Muslims in a form and strikingly attacked the false rhetoric of religion. His wife’s name was Loi.
saint Kabir Das was a great revolutionary saint and mystic of the fifteenth century. His teachings helped to bridge the gap between the Hindus and the Muslims of his time. His views, his mystical poems, and his devotional songs have made him one of the most eminent figures amongst the saints of India.

Birth and upbringing of Sant Kabir Das-

Kabir was born in India in c.1398 a childless Muslim weaver named Niru and his wife Nima found Kabir. The couple adopted the baby and although they brought him up as a Muslim Kabir took on many Hindu customs. Kabir had heard about the Hindu saint Ramananda, who was living in Banaras. Since he was a low-class Muslim boy, Kabir feared that Ramanand would not accept him as his disciple.

Later Ramanand accepted him and Kabir become one of his closest disciples. Like Gurunanak, Kabir imbibed the best of Hindu philosophy and of Islam. He openly shunned idol worship. He did not believe in going on pilgrimages, or taking holy dips in rivers or even doing Namaz. His frankness and unconventional opinions created many enemies.
Kabir traveled widely to preach his message. Someone knew his followers as  Kabirpanthis. He preached the gospel of social equality. He wanted to unite all castes and do away with the differences between Hindus and Muslims, rich and poor, Brahmins and Sudras.

It considered Kabir a threat to the orthodox religious-minded elite. I have expressed his idea of loving God through his Dohas. The language of his poems was the language widely understood by ordinary people. The Holy Guru Granth Sahib contains over 500 verses by Kabir. The Sikh community holds Kabir in the same reverence as the ten Gurus. Kabir was one of the most influential poets of his time. His Dohas were in easy Hindi. He believed in one formless Supreme God. He openly proclaimed that salvation could be attained through devotion and Bhakti.
There are many interesting stories about Kabir’s death. When Kabir passed away, the Hindus wanted to cremate him. The Muslims insisted on burial. There is a story which says when they removed the cloth, there were only flowers. The Hindu took half of it and cremated them and the Muslim took the other half and buried it. in Maghar, his tomb and samadhi stand side by side.
